Fixed problems with key counts in the "All Keywords Field"
Fixed problems with sorting of long lists of keywords in the "All Keywords Field"
All Keywords field will now not choke on a long list (it simply truncates beyond the 32000 character limit).
Fixed subtle problem where if you "Collected All Keywords" from a large number of files and later worked on an individual file from that group, occasionally some partial keyword phrases would be added as new keywords to the "All Keywords" list. For example "multimedia" might be added if it were part of a phrase "multimedia development" even though "multimedia development" already appeared on the "All keywords" list.
Fixed a problem with the disappearing advice field -- the lowest one that reports on keywords appearing in headings and keywords in body text.
Fixed updating of the filename hilighting after a problem filename was encountered. Hilight was stuck on until the next time the advice screen was accessed.
Changed default to "Include HTML tags in character counts"

New features:
Drag and Drop: Valid HTML files dragged onto MetaTag Manager are now processed immediately.
File Extensions menu: This new extensible menu lets you control what file types are processed and allows for many more file types to be processed.
Font menu: There is a new font menu for the Text Pane of the main window to display the tag-stripped text in any font, for example, a Greek font (as was requested).
Support for "Expires" meta tag

Also added "Expires" to "Select More Meta Tags" submenu

Spinning Globe: There is now a spinning globe during the processing of larger files (this will let you know that the program hasn't given up).
New "Des/Key" checkbox on the main Meta Tags window pane to enable or disable the inclusion of the Description and Keywords in the "Add/Replace" preview field.
New "Tags" menu option to "Display Current File's Meta Tags"

New behavior:
Large files (longer than 32 k) are now truncated prior to processing rather than upon placing them into the HTML and Text Preview fields (this speeds things up considerably). A truncation notation is placed at the end of the field. Updating long files is now handled correctly, i.e., the whole file (rather than just the truncated part) is updated.
Quote-Checking: Now checking all paths used by Meta Tag Manager for quotes and aborting if incompatible paths (paths that contain quotes) are detected.
Eye (Preview) button no longer requires holding the mouse down to display "Add/Replace" preview.
Clicking on "Add/Replace" preview field or the "Current Meta Tags" field will dismiss either. Also clicking on the Eye (Preview) button will dismiss either the "Add/Replace" preview field or the "Current Meta Tags" field depending on whichever is showing.
Clicking on "Add/Replace" preview field or the "Current Meta Tags" field with the option key pressed will expand the field to it's maximum size.
It is no longer possible for the Title field to accept carriage returns.
Registration Relaxation:
Unregistered users can now update any file on the file list. Previous versions only allowed updating one of the first three files.
Extensions menu is now extensible by unregistered users. Beta versions had this menu only extensible by registered users.
Problems fixed:
Some people on certain Macintosh models were having a problem getting beyond the opening About Box. We suspect that this is because the About Box attempts to play some MIDI music via the QuickTime Musical Instruments extension. This version allows you to view the About Box without the MIDI music by launching with any of the following keys pressed: the Control key -or- the Option key -or- the Command-key.
Periodic disk access problem has been remedied.
Fixed a problem with checking of the "Add/Replace more meta tags" checkboxes during recalling defaults.
Minor problems with the MetaTag Preview button have been fixed.
Some users of the 68k version experienced a problem viewing the credits (scrolling was too slow). This version should fix the slow scrolling as well.
Existing Keywords Meta Tags which include returns are now correctly processed (returns are converted to spaces prior to processing).
Removed references to MetaMagic which was the code name for Meta Tag Manager during development.
All Help headings are now indexed in the online Help.
Many errors in the online Help have been corrected.
Fixed batch processing problems related to the Title field accepting returns (it no longer does).
Fixed a batch processing problem that occured when the Title Tag's "Skip if result exceeds target values" checkbox was unchecked.
Fixed a problem which resulted in keywords sometimes not being immediately merged with the "All Keys" list on the initial processing of a file (the merging was occuring only on subsequent operations upon the same file).
Fixed a problem with the locking and unlocking of the "All Keys" list.
Many other minor problems have been fixed.
Requested but not done:
Request to consider the following as equivalent was not acted upon because I can find no editors that specficially use a "meta name" tag for the "Content-Type". All seem to use the "meta http-equiv" for "content-type" therefore, the following are not considered as equivalent by Meta Tag Manager:
